I’ve been MIA working, working, working!!! Between the kids, hubs and the everyday, there’s very little room to play!
I had a gorgeous bride come to me a couple weeks back. She looked stunning! We had originally planned to go for a traditional bridal look, you know, that classic bridal glam; a subtle but sexy smokey eye, mainly mattes and more on the taupe-y side, but when she arrived, she saw my makeup, and instantly changed her mind! LOL!
I was sporting a sexy brown smokey-eye with glitter and all the glam! (I didn’t have time to really take photos, but I will have a tut on my look on my YT soon!!!) I convinced her to keep the glitter out for the ceremony; this kept it sexy but definitely still traditional enough (we added this glitter from Tarte for the reception).
I have attached a couple photos to show her in all her gorgeousness! Doesn’t she look like a princess?! Congrats to the beautiful bride and her groom! Wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!
For her foundation we went with Tarte’s Double Duty Wear Hybrid Gel Foundation The hyaluronic acid in this foundation and the creamy texture paired with the full coverage from the amazing pigment, made this the perfect foundation for her combination-dry acne-prone skin! It lasted far into the night well over 12 hours while keeping looking fresh never oily! She loved it!
For concealing I used everyone’s holy-grail concealer Tarte’s Shape Tape in the Shade Light to conceal and correct and also to clean up around the brows after I filled them in.
For contour I went with one of my favs this month The Tartiest PRO Glow Highlight and Contour Palette, their creamy contouring shade is incredible (stay tuned for a tutorial where I show you how I use this too).
I set everything with RCMA’s no color powder.
Bronzer was a combination of Tarte’s Park Ave Princess Bronzer both the matte and the one with a sheen.
Blush was a mix of Tarte’s clay blushes from a palette that is no longer available 🙁 Sorry!
Highlight was from the contour palette mentioned above!
Primed with MAC’s Soft Ochre Paint Pot all the way up into the brow.
I proceeded to lightly fill and shape her Eyebrows using Anastasia’s Eyebrow Pencil in Medium Brown (its dark but when used with the right hand it mimics the color of actual hair). (I do this last to ensure I can remove any buildup from the face makeup application prior to filling them in.)
Lips were a combo of MAC’s High Tea and Jouers Skinny Dip Lip Topper.
To set everything in place I used Makeup Forevers Mist and Fix and she was ready for her special day!!!
Feel free to ask me any questions! 🙂 Always here! Stay tuned for the tutorials featuring the look that made this bride completely change her mind in an instant! 🙂
